For creatives, basic human needs such as adequate nutrition, physical activity, sleep, and mental wellness are often neglected in pursuit of a career in the arts. In this workshop, Carolyn Franke will cover the basics of healthy eating on a budget, incorporating more physical activity into your day, improving sleep quality and quantity, and simple strategies for managing worries and low mood, all aimed at improving overall wellbeing.

Participants will be guided in setting small, meaningful, and measurable goals and developing an action plan to achieve them. Taking care of these basics can lead to feeling better, more motivated and productive. Ultimately, this will provide artists with the energy and drive to pursue new opportunities, complete grant applications, and fuel their creativity
